Pieter van Vredenburch has 30 years of experience in the financial-services industry. Prior to joining 1776 Financial, Pieter was a managing director and head of global markets treasury for the Americas at HSBC. Pieter, who graduated from Southern New Hampshire University, has extensive background in a wide range of asset classes and a deep knowledgebase in the technology and market structure of fixed-income, currency, and commodity markets. During his career, Pieter held senior leadership positions with UBS, RBC and HSBC and at Fintech firms, such as Droit Financial Technologies and Quant Insight. He was on the Foundation Board of Southern Connecticut State University and chairman of the SCSU Foundation’s investment committee and a member of the audit committee.
Pieter was born in the Netherlands and then moved to England at age 10 before coming to College in the USA and has had season tickets to the New England Patriots since 1987. He is an avid wildlife photographer and also likes to play golf, tennis and more recently some pickleball!!
